Nutritional Profile

 

The Nutri-Score is a comprehensive nutritional label based on a calculation derived from the UK Food Nutrition Profiling System (FSA score).

The Nutri-Score was selected by the French government in March 2017 to be displayed on food products after being compared to several other labels designed by the food industry and retailers. Compared to other labels on the front of the package, the Nutri-Score has proven to be most effective in providing information on the nutritional quality of food.

 

At present, this is an across-the-board introduction within the EU.
